T.C.A. District Five – Structure and Leadership
 

Texas Chiropractic Association District Five is one of twelve T.C.A. districts in the State of Texas. District Five officers oversee the activities of the district, including but not limited to orchestrating the quarterly district meetings, organizing legislative receptions, scheduling training classes for doctors, C.A.’s and students, updating the website, generating public support for chiropractic in the DFW area and coordinating the marketing efforts of individuals and companies that wish to provide services or products to the doctors and students of the district. Our officers also coordinate activities with the T.C.A. in Austin and the students at Parker College of Chiropractic.

Corporate Officers of T.C.A. District Five

On January 1, 2009, T.C.A. District Five became a non-profit corporation in the State of Texas. The name of our corporation is Texas Chiropractic Association District Five, Inc. Our Board of Directors consists of District Five officers, the past District Five State Director and a corporate sponsor.

The mission of our non-profit corporation is to protect the District Five doctors, their staffs and their patients from anti-chiropractic legislation, anti-chiropractic insurance company policies, businesses that discriminate against chiropractors and individuals that promote anti-chiropractic activities.

Our non-profit Board of Directors will work toward fulfilling the following requirements in 2009.

• Direct the mission of our corporation.

• Create a strategic plan that addresses the needs of the doctors in District Five.

• Grow and protect the financial assets of District Five.

• Research and discuss issues before decisions are made.

• Approve all policies and programs.

• Oversee the District Five PAC Fund.

• Enhance the image of the chiropractic profession in District Five.

• Acquire ongoing resources through fundraising activities.

• Approve a budget and all expenditures.

• Provide guidance to the officers of District Five.
